Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
SPRAYWHITE 90® Frequently Asked Questions
What is overuse?
You have used too much SPRAYWHITE 90® if you experience any excessive sensitivity or discomfort. Everyone’s tolerance to tooth whitening is different, but one of the benefits of the SPRAYWHITE 90® System is your ability to regulate the use of the product by the amount of sprays and exposure time to help assure a pleasurable experience.
What could I expect with overuse or if I am very sensitive to whitening products?
Some of the symptoms of overuse are tooth sensitivity, tingling or burning during use, swollen lips, canker sores and chemical burns.
Who is the most susceptible to excessive sensitivity?
Persons, particularly women, with thin tissue, fragile gingival or who have very clean hygiene/home-care (little bio-film, plaque or bio-load), but anyone can experience excessive sensitivity.
If I feel excessive sensitivity, what can I do?
You can control the amount of product (number of squirts), the length of exposure time (20-90 seconds) and frequency of use (every day, every other day or once a week). This allows for greater control and a wide range in individual tolerances can be accommodated.
Why is gingival different from other whitening products?
SPRAYWHITE 90® is unique in a number of ways. First is the application of the product as a spray. This allows for the use of a small amount of product and a very short exposure time (30-90 seconds). Next is our ENHANCING RINSE™ that shuts off surface concentration and exposure and neutralizes any acidity from the oxygen released during the whitening process.
Is SPRAYWHITE 90™ safe for dental work.
When used as directed, SPRAYWHITE 90® is safe for all dental work.
Will SPRAYWHITE 90® whiten my veneers, crowns or implant crowns?
SPRAYWHITE 90® will not whiten (change the color) of veneers or ceramic crowns on natural teeth or implants. It will, however, remove any stains and dullness from daily activities like eating and drinking. SPRAYWHITE 90® can be used to whiten your natural teeth to the point that they match your veneers or crowns.
